Our Story

Highland Innovation Hub was born in the Kigezi highlands of Southwestern Uganda, a region rich in potential yet underserved by traditional innovation pathways. Recognizing the need to move beyond pitch competitions and isolated tech sprints, HIH was founded to bridge the gap between visionary entrepreneurs, resource-ready corporates, and real community needs.

We operate with the belief that innovation is most powerful when tested in the field, grounded in lived realities, and scaled through systems change.
